- 24 medium asparagus spears, woody ends trimmed
- 8 slices bacon (sugar-free for paleo)

For the Mango Sauce:
- 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small shallot, finely minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Mango Sauce:
- Blend mango, lime juice, olive oil, shallot, and cilantro until smooth
- Season with salt and set aside
- Prepare the Asparagus:
- Bundle 3 asparagus spears together
- Wrap each bundle with bacon
- Secure with toothpicks
- Brush with olive oil and season with pepper
- Prepare the Scallops:
- Pat scallops dry with paper towels
- Mix olive oil, lemon zest, garlic, salt, and pepper
- Coat scallops in mixture
- Cooking:
- Preheat grill to medium-high (200°C/400°F)
- Place bacon-wrapped asparagus on grill, cook 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally
- Add scallops to grill
- Cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown
- Plating:
